Beginings Of An Artist:
When I was young, I never had a natural talent in art.  I still loved going to museums with my father and sister.  I read and learned the basic of art history.  In high school, I was determined to draw more than the most dazzling stick figures.  It took me years of study and practice to get the skill level you see today on my gallery page.

Becoming An Artist:
I studied different styles and have come to love two types: Impressionism and Surrealism.  I love the dreamlike landscapes, emotion, mood, and thought provoking imagery these styles achieve.  During my years in Theater creating and painting sets, I learned about different painting techniques of Impressionism.  Through my wierd dreams, (none of which are in full color, only in dark greens) I learned to express my art on paper or canvas in a Surrealistic motif.

The Artist:
My style is unique.  I dream of something and try to convey it on paper.  I am always experimenting with various media.  I can do it all: acrylic, pastels, charocal, pen, graphite, watercolor, and even oils.  I love using them all, well maybe not oils as much (they take too long to dry).  My talent is being able to recreate anything from just a photo.  I love using Photoshop to splice images together to create a reference picture.  Art is a means to express one's inner most thoughts of beauty or sorrow; I am a huge believer of that statement.  My only hope in life is to create art for people; whether original works or commissioned.
