BIO

I was born and raised in Farmington, NY. I spent most of my childhood trying to fight boredom. I did not start creating art until high school. I spent many years after that honing my skills to draw something more than stick figures. I went to Nazareth College of Rochester where I studied theater. I spent my college career designing and painting sets. I worked in various states after college in scene painting. I ended up in Pittsburgh, PA where I create art in my free time. I love making commissioned works for customers, enjoy going to the movies, and watching netflix.

My Process

Most artists tend to have a style or theme to their works; I do not. I create all different types of artwork, and I never draw the same thing twice. I drew a Degas reproduction, because I wanted to see if I could. I will paint portraits, just so I can study the human face. I feel at times it confuses people. I want to draw everything and anything just to say I could. I want to be a Jack of All Trades. My mind never wants to settle and it wants to experience everything artistic. I use a lot of mixed media: pastels, pencil, watercolor, acrylic paints, and/or charcoal. I work from a reference photo and then place my own ideas into the image.
